About the Seminars : Looking at the Problem
Professional service providers are educated and experienced to solve technical problems. Typically, these same professionals are neither trained nor comfortable making persuasive presentations, especially when the stakes are high. And yet, owners select professional service providers based on how well they communicate during interview presentations.
Is this unfair? Yes.
Is fairness a consideration in the selection process? No.
You can provide technical professionals with training and coaching to become better speakers, but these tactics do not address the root cause of the problem - designing and delivering persuasive presentations. If content is lacking, delivery predictably suffers.
